The Department of Management at Illinois State University is inviting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position in Strategic Management at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 16, 2026.
The primary teaching responsibilities will be courses in Strategic Management, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with other international courses (e.g., international business, international management and cross-cultural behavior in business) as needs dictate. Faculty in MGT typically teach a 3-3 load with enrollment in each course section capped around 40 students. Classes during the academic year are delivered face-to-face or hybrid. Research, teaching, and service duties will be divided 40/40/20 percent, respectively. The potential and commitment to do both high-quality teaching and research is expected. Standard appointment dates are August 16 to May 15.
