Join us for the AOM's PDW session on "Entrepreneurial Scaling: Strategic and Organizational Perspectives"!
Friday, July 25 2025 1:00PM - 3:30PM CEST at Bella Center in Hall D- D3-m3
Pre-registration Deadline: July 10, 2025
Recent years have witnessed rapidly growing interest in the topic of scaling within management scholarship. However, emerging research on scaling has been fragmented and dispersed. Existing research has explored the phenomenon of scaling from different strategic and organizational perspectives, including digital, global, and human-capital. This PDW aims to integrate these emerging conversations and provide an overview of the field in a way that may be especially valuable to junior scholars. The PDW will be structured in three parts. First, four panelists will draw on their research to present important perspectives on scaling. Second, the panel will be followed by a commentary discussion by an expert in the field. Third, we will engage with audience members through interactive activities, including a Q&A session and breakout discussions on participants' early-stage projects. By convening a group of scholars undertaking leading research on scaling, we hope to advance our understanding of the scaling phenomenon, provide junior scholars with an overview of the topic, facilitate discussions to generate new ideas for future research, and foster the creation of a worldwide community of researchers interested in this topic.
Panelists:

● Ronnie Lee, University of Pennsylvania
● Dimo Ringov, ESADE Business School
