We are so thrilled to announce that The American University in Cairo (Ismaeel Tharwat, Ayman Ismail, Seham Ghalwash and Amr Adly), with generous sponsorship from the AOM STR and TIM Divisions, will host a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) on December 16 around the topic of Management and Organizations in the Global South

This PDW welcomes any applicable theories, methods, and topics pertaining to this theme and especially welcomes submissions from Global South scholars for consideration in top management and organization outlets. This includes but is not limited to these two special issue calls that pertain to key themes around the Global South:

Mentors will include senior scholars such as Emily Block (Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta) and Daniel Armanios (Saïd Business School, University of Oxford). Spaces are limited and travel support may be possible, though yet to be confirmed.

Please fill out the following Google form by November 30 to convey your interest: https://forms.gle/xPcT7mBk9DS5USuY9. If you have any questions or are having trouble with the links, feel free to email us at daniel.armanios@sbs.ox.ac.uk.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you there!

    Daniel
