We are excited to announce our upcoming PDW titled Entrepreneurial Storytelling and Framing: Navigating in the Age of AI, scheduled for the 2025 AOM Annual Meeting in Copenhagen. - Presentations and discussions by distinguished speakers – Richard Hunt, Greg Fisher, Yuliya Snihur and Aaron Anglin. The discussion will conclude with an open discussion among all workshop facilitators.
3. Thematic roundtables, each facilitated by speakers and organizers, which will focus on interactive discussions on "research questions or ideas" that scholars can examine in these areas. Description:
Over the past several years, entrepreneurial storytelling has emerged as a vibrant area of research and practice, particularly as scholars have unpacked its power to shape legitimacy, signal to stakeholders, and guide venture strategy. Our PDW builds on this foundation by turning toward the future-exploring how storytelling and framing are being reshaped in the era of artificial intelligence.
This year's PDW expands the conversation by examining the convergence of entrepreneurial communication and generative AI. We explore how AI tools-from large language models to real-time content generation platforms-are transforming how stories are crafted, personalized, and strategically framed. By bringing together leading voices in entrepreneurship, strategy, and organizational cognition, we aim to deepen understanding of how AI technologies are influencing not just what entrepreneurs say, but how, when, and to whom they say it.
Our goal is to challenge static notions of storytelling as purely human-driven, and instead consider hybrid forms of narrative production that blend human creativity with algorithmic insight. We also foreground important ethical questions: How does AI impact how entrepreneurs walk the line between persuasion and manipulation? What are the risks of AI-fueled hype, and how can authenticity be preserved across venture stages?
Schedule

- Part II (Open to all): Engaging presentations and panel discussions on key topics, including:
