Do you use interactive teaching exercises? Would you be willing to share what these are with the broader international management community? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
The AOM IM Division Teaching Committee is in the process of compiling interactive exercises and activities related to international management. We are interested in both macro and micro area resources (global strategy, international business, international entrepreneurship, cross-cultural management, international organizational behavior, international human resource management, etc.)
A curated list would be posted on the IM Division teaching website. We'd be delighted to have several activities on a variety of topics, and who better to solicit these from than our members? Note that these do not need to be activities you have developed – these can include those from third parties as well.
For any activity you are willing to share, please provide the following information:
· Its name
· The topic or broad area it relates to (e.g. cross-cultural negotiation, entry mode)
· Time needed to conduct the exercise
· How to find or access it (e.g. website with materials, book its included in)
· A brief description (e.g. what happens in the exercise)
· Cost-related information (this could be approximate, ideally in US$)
· Anything else you'd like to share (e.g. tips for running it)
You can enter it directly in the below GoogleDoc (preferred) or email this information to Davina Vora at vorad@newpaltz.edu. The link to the GoogleDoc is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wT6aNcXQ55m2AiUT-CmX8pwYpwFazBlvi4nn3tM5y4s/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks in advance for sharing!
Best regards,
Davina Vora and Rimi Zakaria
