We are delighted to announce the 2026 collaborative event between the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA) and the AIB Oceania Chapter, taking place in Melbourne, Australia from 24–27 November 2026.

Co-hosted by The University of Melbourne and RMIT University, this year's conference theme is:

"Global Business at a Crossroads: Geopolitics, Economic Nationalism, and Market Fragmentation."

A major highlight of the conference will be the keynote address by Professor
Shige Makino, Incoming President Elect and Fellow of the AIB.

    The conference will also feature:
    • Doctoral Colloquium
    • Early and Mid-Career Researchers and Education Scholars Day
    • Research and Education Methods Workshops
    • Parallel Paper Sessions and Panels
    • Paper Development Workshop

As global business faces increasing uncertainty and fragmentation, this event will provide an important platform for scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and shape future research directions in international business.

Submissions open in early July 2026, with short paper submissions due by 31 July 2026. Find attached the Call for Papers.

We look forward to welcoming the global IB community to Melbourne in 2026.
