    SMU Niemi Center Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position in Organizational Leadership for Fall 2019

    SMU's Cox School of Business invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship position in The Niemi Center for Economic Growth and Leadership Development to begin in Fall 2019. While housed in The Niemi Center, the post doc may also work with Management and Organizations (MNO) faculty on research and also have exposure to other faculty within the Cox School. The post doc will also have access to The Cox Behavioral Lab and the Dallas business community. The position appointment is for one year with the expectation of renewal for the second year as long as work is satisfactory.

    The fellowship offers a competitive salary with benefits and a research fund. In addition, for fellows seeking teaching experience, classes can be taught for substantial extra compensation (but teaching is not required).

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Proactively designing and implementing research studies related to organizational leadership.
    • Writing and collaborating on study reports, scholarly papers, and conference presentations.
    • Work in The Niemi Center 10 hours per week assisting with administration and supervision of student research fellows.

    1. CV with the projected date of PhD graduation (contract is contingent upon earning PhD by August 2019).
