    Dear colleagues,

Carnegie Mellon is invested in creating a strong pipeline of faculty who are from underrepresented groups. To that end, it has established a Presidential Postdoctoral fellowship program, which is "an opportunity for departments to bring in strong scholars at the postdoctoral level in all fields represented at the university. We are particularly interested in supporting scholars who will bring to their academic and research careers the perspective that comes from a non-traditional educational background or understanding of the experiences of groups historically underrepresented in higher education. The program offers postdoctoral research fellowships, faculty mentoring, professional development and academic networking opportunities for diverse scholars."

Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2018: https://www.cmu.edu/faculty-office/ppfp/index.html.

Should you know of a talented individual who would fit this call, please do not hesitate to forward this information to them. More information on the program can be found here: http://www.cmu.edu/faculty-office/ppfp/index.html.

    Best,
    Rosalind Chow
