We are glad to share with you the nineth episode of the IM Global, the Podcast series of the Membership Drive Committee of the IM-Division of the Academy of Management.
In this episode, Dr. Tanvi Kothari, Associate Professor at Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at San José State University, interviews Professor Anu Phene, Professor of International Business, and Phillip Grub Distinguished Scholar at the School of Business at George Washington (GW) University. Before joining GW, she was an Associate Professor of Strategy at the University of Utah. She received her Ph.D. in international management from the University of Texas and her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Among several positions in the IM division, Professor Anu Phene is a member of the Executive Committee and immediate-past Chair of our division.
In this fascinating interview, Professor Anu Phene talks about the opportunities of studying innovation in IM and shares several pieces of advice for Ph.D. students and junior faculty alike regarding how to progress in the academic career and how to make stronger contributions to our field of research.
