Along with Guest Co-Editors Cynthia Clark, Tanusree Jain and Patricia Gabaldon, I am very excited to share this Call for Papers at the CGIR Journal on global social movements and the Governance of the Firm.
During the last decade, it is believed that global social movements (GSMs) have started exerting substantial influence on both business and society. Through this Special Issue, we call for papers that assess whether and to what extent corporate boards consider GSMs as relevant for firms, and the degree and the way these GSMs influence boards and their decision making.
