The Strategy & Statistics Area of the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University invites applications for an Adjunct position in Healthcare Systems for Fall term 2021.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the position entail teaching one (1) section of the "Intro to Healthcare Systems" course in the Gabelli School of Business. The course is required in the Healthcare Management Secondary Concentration and covers the following topics: Payers, Providers, Patients, Healthcare Service Workers, and the Industry (pharma, devices, supplies, and diagnostics). The course may be taught either in person or remotely (and may incorporate both synchronous and asynchronous components). The course is scheduled for Monday evenings, 5:45pm-7:45pm (EST) during Fall 2021 term (9/8/2021-12/20/2021).
Position Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's degree (ABD or PhD) in a related field with extensive work experience. Experience teaching at either the undergraduate or graduate level is a plus, as is teaching in online/hybrid modalities.
