Research in the Rough: A Research Incubator Session offered through the Emerging Scholars Consortium

Location: In-person at Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting in Copenhagen
Session time at AOM: Saturday, July 26th, 2025 (Time and room location TBD)
The Health Care Management (HCM) Division invites researchers to participate in a highly interactive, in-person research incubator session during the Emerging Scholars Consortium (ESC) of the 2025 Academy of Management Annual Meeting. The session is designed to provide early career researchers with constructive feedback on their in-progress research projects, ranging from early stage conceptualization to later stage manuscript preparation. Each participant will discuss their research projects (one-on-one) with each of 2 assigned mentors, rotating in timed increments. This session is a GREAT way to connect with mid- and senior-career scholars in the HCM field, advance your progress on current work, and get the most out of your ESC experience!
To be given priority consideration for participation, all applicants must submit a brief initial registration for this session by May 15th, 2025. We will follow up with all registered participants to request a brief (up to 500-word) abstract of your work-in-progress to be submitted by mid-June. This abstract will help the organizing committee match each scholar to appropriate mentors.
