Call for Chapter Contributions
Research Handbook on Healthcare Operations: Present and Emerging Issues

We are finalizing the contributor list for an upcoming Research Handbook on Healthcare Operations. We are seeking a small number of high-impact contributions that address critical emerging topics and strengthen both the scholarly and practical relevance of the volume.
Priority topics for new contributions include healthcare operations strategy across systems and countries; politics and healthcare operations; replication research in healthcare operations; critical theory perspectives on healthcare operations; and strategic capacity management in healthcare (e.g., handovers, bottlenecks, scheduling). We also welcome innovative proposals that introduce fresh perspectives or address emerging issues in healthcare operations.
Timeline:
We will coordinate individually with contributors to ensure flexibility while maintaining coherence across the volume.
