Dear Members of the AOM Health Care Management (HCM) Division,
We're excited to announce the continuation of the HCM Mentoring Program! This initiative is designed to connect doctoral students and early careerists in the HCM field with scholars across the division to explore shared research interests and/or professional goals.
We invite you to sign up-whether you're seeking guidance as a mentee or looking to pay it forward as a mentor. It's our hope that this program continues to foster meaningful connections and a supportive community within the Division.
CALL FOR MENTEES: If you are interested in signing up as a mentee, please complete this short form by August 1, 2025: https://forms.gle/mXB7Pr1CUtU9FNUY7
CALL FOR MENTORS: To ensure the program's success, we need faculty and experienced practitioners of the HCM Division to serve as mentors. You would serve provide as a source guidance and support to 1-2 mentees. If you're willing to serve in this valuable role, please complete the following short form by August 1, 2025: https://forms.gle/QSnWjH2Gw3pP8hFQ8
Program Details:
- If you participated in the program last year, we kindly ask that you complete the form again to confirm your continued interest.
- Mentor-mentee pairs will be announced by August 8, 2025.
- We recommend that mentors and mentees connect for at least two 30-minute sessions via video or phone over the next academic year: one perhaps at a mutually convenient time and another during the 2026 AOM Annual Meeting.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to either of us: Michaela Kerrissey (mkerrissey@hsph.harvard.edu) and Gordon Shen (Gordon.C.Shen@uth.tmc.edu).
We look forward to seeing some of you in Copenhagen!
