    Dear HCM Members:

The AOM 2025 elections have closed and the results tabulated. First, I happy to report that HCM's response rate was 25.5%, among the highest of all divisions. Thanks to everyone who voted.

Second, this year the HCM division's open positions received nominations for a large number of qualified candidates. It is exciting that so many people stepped up and expressed willingness to serve! Ultimately, we had three open elected positions and I'm happy to announce the winners.

    1. Program Chair Elect/PDW Chair: Daan Westra, Maastricht University - In this position Daan will start on the 5-year executive leadership track that includes PDW Chair, followed by Program Chair, then Division Chair Elect, Division Chair, and finally Past Division Chair. Daan is following in the footsteps of Ingrid Nembhard, this year's PDW Chair. Daan is also leaving the role of Academic-at-Large, in which he has served for the past two years.

    2. Academic-at-Large: Michaela Kerrissey, Harvard. Michaela has authored over 40 publications on team and organizational topics and has won best paper awards from the Academy of Management and the Interdisciplinary Network for Group Research. Michaela will succeed Daan Westra in this two-year position. During this time she will represent academics in the division, assist in developing research-oriented activities, and serve on award committees in addition to other duties.

    3. Practitioner-at-Large: Andrew Scarffe, is a manager in a "Big 4" management consulting firm and is also a post-doctoral fellow in Decision-Science and Healthcare Management at the Bob Gaglardi School of Business & Economics at Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops, Canada). Andrew will succeed Andres Pinto in this two-year position and will represent practitioner viewpoints in the division, assist in developing practitioner-oriented activities, and serve on award committees in addition to other duties.

Thanks to the so many volunteers who serve the HCM division! Thanks also to those who are willing to serve for the first time. All of the new roles start officially in August, after the AOM annual meeting. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
