Please join us at this year's AOM meeting for a Professional Development Workshop on teaching "soft skills" to our students. This workshop will focus on the why, when, and how of teaching our students to appreciate and master a range of soft skills (e.g., teamwork, problem-solving, empathy, listening, time management, critical thinking, negotiation). The teaching of soft skills is an underappreciated and important imperative for both graduate and undergraduate students. Yet, many leave their academic training with less exposure to such training and less confidence in employing soft skills in the workplace.
