It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague, Dr. Jessica Mittler.
Jessica served as an Associate Professor in the VCU Department of Health Administration for the past 11 years. Her work centered on improving patient experience and strengthening engagement across systems of care. She was a deeply committed scholar, educator, and mentor who inspired students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her impact lives on through the many students, colleagues, and partners she guided, challenged, and supported.
We are grateful for the time we shared with her and extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family, friends, and colleagues. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center in her honor.
