The Global Educators Network for Health Innovation Education (GENiE) is holding its annual meeting in beautiful Copenhagen on October 18-21. (See enclosed draft agenda).
The conference on October 18-19 features panels of key 2018 health care innovators and academics who teach their innovation; keynotes on how governments innovate, the importance of management to health care excellence, and an evaluation of recent U.S. health care innovations; and a session on innovating health care education. The conference also includes ample networking time. The conference is free.
The Teach the Teacher session on October 20-21 consists of Ideation and Implementation sessions and an Innovating in Health Care case based mini-course. The Teach the Teacher segment on October 20-21, 2018 will include interactive sessions led by Willis Emmons, Senior Lecturer and Director of C. Roland Christensen Center for Teaching and Learning at the Harvard Business School and Linda Cyr, Lecturer on Health Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, with leaders in pedagogical development of health care innovation education and ideation and implementation exercises. In addition, I will teach Innovating in Health Care case studies. There is a $300 fee for the Teach the Teacher session.
