    We would like to bring to your attention two opportunities for faculty interested in joining our growing and dynamic Institute of Health Administration in the Robinson College of Business (RCB) at Georgia State University.

    We have two openings: We anticipate filling one position at the associate or full professor (tenure track) level, while the other is for a non-tenure-track clinical faculty position.     Tenure Track Position:
    The position is tenure track; rank is open, but we expect to hire at the level of full or associate professor. Qualified candidates will have an earned doctorate in Business Administration (strategic management/ organizational behavior/ organization theory), Applied Psychology or Sociology, Public Health Management, or a closely related field from an accredited University. Candidates should have a significant scholarly research record demonstrated through publications in premier journals and expertise in the application of theory to health care organizations. Preference may be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to attract external grant funding. The successful candidate will teach, primarily at the graduate level, conduct independent and collaborative research leading to publication in leading management and health services journals, and contribute to the Institute, University and profession through service activities.

    Clinical Position:
    Rank is open but we expect to hire at the level of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor. Candidates must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, professional experience, and demonstrated high-level teaching experience. A demonstrated capability for scholarly research (including practitioner and interdisciplinary research), is desired. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in health administration, health services research or management, public health or policy from an AACSB-accredited university or international equivalent, and have a deep understanding of health care. Preference may be given to candidates with proven experience in the healthcare delivery sector, especially hospital, governance, and health policy.

In addition to the MBA/MHA double degree program, the Institute faculty members collaborate with partners across the College and University to support research initiatives and academic programs in areas such as health information technology, nursing leadership, and health regulation and policy.
