Faculty Positions in Management
The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health invites applications for one, or more, faculty positions at any rank, (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor), in the Department of Health Policy and
Management (HPM). Candidates should demonstrate evidence of the potential for distinguished research and educational activity in areas at the intersection of the fields of management, health care
organizations, and public health. This will include leading scholarship in public health/health care management in such areas as operations organizational behavior, leadership, and/or the financial or
strategic management of organizations in health care or public health. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the capacity to successfully teach in at least one of these areas of organizational science in the School's academic degree programs and advise doctoral and masters students.
Candidates should have a doctoral degree (DBA, PhD) or MD degree with advanced academic training in a management related discipline, a strong background in management research, the ability to teach graduate-level management courses, and the capacity to work with interdisciplinary groups. Research experience on issues integral to understanding and improving how healthcare organizations operate is required.
