We would like to invite you to the 1st annual International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Health (IEH). Jointly sponsored by Oklahoma State University, Indiana University, San Diego State University, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and the University of Pretoria, South Africa, the conference will be held in.

This inaugural conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Health reflects a growing need to transform todays' dysfunctional health care systems into one in which creative and innovative solutions will lead to better health and health care delivery. We are living through what is, arguably, the most challenging time for the health care industry. Globally, health systems are characterized by rising costs, poor access and diminishing quality and safety of care and there appears to be no imminent solution on the horizon. In the wake of this crisis in health, the world is looking for new sources of efficiency and alternative business models. Now, more than ever, we need health sector academics and practitioners to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship.....not just to survive, but to redefine and reshape health and health care delivery.

The IEH conference provides an open platform to bring together thought leaders, scholars and practitioners from across the globe to present research and to stimulate discussions on how innovation and entrepreneurship can help transform health.

We will meet in Oklahoma City, rated by the Kauffman Foundation as one of the most entrepreneurial cities in America, and home to a major hospital and health research community. Delegates fly into Will Rogers World Airport.
