I am interested in finding additional presenters to join a symposia
submission I am building for the 2011 AOM Conference on employee job
    satisfaction in the workplace.

The symposia title, summary (brief), and current presentations are:

TITLE: Determinants, Consequences, and Distinguishing Features of Employee
    Job Satisfaction in the Workplace

SUMMARY: Employee job satisfaction is an ongoing concern for employers,
since they invest substantial time and finances in hiring, training, and
maintaining a quality workforce. Understanding what factors serve as
determinants to, consequences of, and distinguishing features for employee
job satisfaction will help employers shape their organizational management
    decisions, policies, and practices.

    CURRENT PRESENTATIONS:
    1. The Role of Intrinsic and Extrinsic Rewards in Conceptualizing Employee
Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intentions (Kelley A. Carameli, VA NCOD)
    - Exploratory factor analysis of a job satisfaction scale with factor/
construct validation (longitudinal dataset of Veterans Health
    Administration employees).

    2. Intrinsic and Extrinsic Qualities of Job Satisfaction Among Clinicians:
A Qualitative Case Study (Nancy Yanchus, VA NCOD)
    - Assessment of job satisfaction themes in Workplace Assessment
interviews conducted with Veterans Health Administration clinicians.

I realize this inquiry is time-sensitive with submissions due Jan. 11,
2011 by 5pm EST. If you are interested in joining this panel to present
your work on employee job satisfaction, please reply to me directly.

    Thank you.
