    PROFESSOR OF STRATEGY (OPEN RANK)

The Keck Graduate Institute, the newest of the Claremont Colleges, invites applicants for an open rank professor position in Strategy. Candidates should have, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. in Strategy or Organizational Theory (or equivalent), and have strong capabilities for scholarly research and teaching. Applicants with a focus on life sciences industries or health care are especially encouraged to apply, although applicants with any sub-specialty in Strategy or Organizational Theory backgrounds will be considered. This position commences in August 2011.

In addition to scholarly research activities, the successful candidate must have the capacity to teach courses at the MBA level. We are especially interested in attracting candidates that can teach KGI’s core strategy course, as well as elective courses in strategy implementation, innovation and technology management, or related areas.

Salary is competitive and benefits commensurate with U.S. business schools. There is also a start-up fund for research and scholarly activities. Interaction with faculty from the other Claremont Colleges, including the Drucker Graduate School of Management, is encouraged.
