The American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) is issuing a call for research proposals to build upon the 2009 ASHRM Healthcare Risk Management Facility Staffing Survey. Briefly stated, ASHRM is interested in research that will explore the link between healthcare risk management staffing variations and patient outcomes as well as healthcare facility financial stability. The research may address appropriate risk management staffing levels, criteria for creating staffing guidelines, patient outcome variations by staffing practices, and healthcare facility financial stability variations by staffing practices.
Notifications of interest are due July 19. Proposals are due August 13.
