In conjunction with faculty at Georgia State University, this message provides notice of an eight-hour live, synchronous, 'hands on,' interactive, globally-available, audio- and video-supported online academic workshop on covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) using the AMOS software on June 21 and 23 @ 12 Noon - 4PM EDT (GMT-5). The workshop combines 'how-to' instruction on CB-SEM techniques at both the introductory and more intermediate levels with numerous live, 'hands on' exercises and associated data sets using AMOS.
The workshop presenter is Joe Hair, best-selling author of the highly-cited (17,000 citations according to Google Scholar)
Multivariate Data Analysis
textbook, and professor at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, GA, USA. Dr. Hair has been bestowed with numerous academic and statistical accolades since earning a PhD in Marketing in 1971. His bio, the registration costs and policies, and an outline of the workshop is posted on the workshop registration site (see below)
The early registration fee (before May 16) for faculty/practitioners is $295 USD (using the discount code 'early') and for full-time graduate students, only $225 USD (using the discount code 'earlystudent' when registering). Seats are limited. There is much more information about the: (1) workshop; (2) workshop costs/policies; and (3) workshop presenter, Dr. Joseph F. Hair, Jr., at the registration site:

(please copy and paste url into browser address bar).
In addition to participating in the live, globally available, interactive workshop, participants also receive: (1) all workshop slides, materials, 'hands-on' exercises and data sets; (2) relevant citations and other literature; and (3) complete audio- and video- recordings of the workshop sessions at the conclusion of the workshop (available at no extra charge for an extended period after the workshop is concluded).
The workshop is presented using the award-winning Elluminate Live ! eDistance learning platform. All that is required to participate is a fast, reliable Internet connection (not dial-up) and a set of inexpensive headphones with a microphone. There is no cost for participants to use the Elluminate Live ! platform.
