Research Study on Cross-Country Differences in Patient Care Quality Recruitment E-mail
I am writing to request your participation in a research study exploring cross-country differences in patient care quality. The study is being conducted by Dr. Subhajit Chakraborty and Dr. Cara Scheuer from the Department of Management and Decision Sciences at Coastal Carolina University (www.coastal.edu/business). Dr. Scheuer is also a PhD graduate from Saint Mary's University (NS, Canada).
Participation in this study involves completing a brief electronic survey using the link provided below on the topic of patient care quality (PCQ). Your survey responses will remain strictly confidential. The information you provide will help to identify institutional differences in PCQ and will ultimately contribute to the improvement of PCQ in Canada and elsewhere. To be eligible to participate in this study you must be currently working in Canada either as a medical doctor or as a senior-level health care administrator (e.g., a Senior Administrator at a nursing home). It is my understanding that you meet this eligibility criteria, which is why you are being invited to participate in the study.
We are using a snowball sampling approach for our study meaning that we are relying heavily on individuals such as yourself to recruit additional eligible participants for the study. As such, I ask that you please forward this study recruitment e-mail to any individuals or groups that you know of that meet the participant eligibility criteria specified above and that you also ask them to do the same (i.e., to forward this e-mail onto to their networks and request their participation in the study).
