I want to call your attention to two PDWs that require pre-registration. If you are interested in attending one or both of these sessions, please be sure to follow the links to register. These PDWs are free of charge, but you must be registered for the annual meeting to attend.
Moving Your Work to the Next Step: Getting Feedback from the Experts
Doctoral students and junior faculty are invited to submit written work before the meeting that will be reviewed by HCMD experts. During the session, the experts will provide face-to-face feedback on the submitted dissertation materials, manuscripts, or grant proposals. Expert participants will also conduct a question-and-answer session with submitters on the topics of getting and giving constructive feedback, writing clearly, and other topics of interest.

HCM Doctoral Student and Junior Faculty Consortium
The Health Care Management Division Doctoral Student and Junior Faculty Consortium will be an interactive session in which senior faculty meet with doctoral students and junior faculty to discuss career development issues. The consortium provides an opportunity for networking and discussion of teaching, research, service, and academic life. Topics include discussions on finishing your dissertation, getting tenure, finding and negotiating job offers, and getting published.
