Call for papers from Advances in Autism-
http://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/aia.htm We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue of Advances in Autism journal regarding offending behaviour.
Sometimes, people with autism end up detained within prison and secure hospitals. While a very vulnerable group with particular health care needs, there is often a misconception that this population are at increased risk of committing crime.
This special issue aims to focus on the social, biological and psychological factors relevant to our understanding of criminal behaviour and autism, and will be edited by both Dr Regi Alexander (University of East Anglia, UK) and Dr Peter Langdon (Tizard Centre, University of Kent, UK).
The editors wish to encourage the submission of papers using a range of methodologies including systematic reviews, qualitative research methods, as well as quantitative methods.
Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2016
You can submit a paper to this issue via the journal's online submission system here (please ensure you select the special issue on 'autism and offending'). Submit to:
