    Assistant Professor, Healthcare Administration

    Full-Time, Tenure Track Faculty Position

    Empire State College's School for Graduate Studies in Saratoga Springs, NY, seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in our Business Management and Leadership programs.  The successful candidate will provide high-quality educational services to students developing and teaching graduate courses in the areas of healthcare systems, healthcare policy, healthcare finance, and healthcare marketing as well as core courses in the MBA in Management program.   This individual will participate in programmatic residencies, advise students, serve on appropriate committees, follow an effective professional development plan., and enhance the College's reputation within the community.   We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability to teach successfully across our graduate business programs, skills in the design of online courses and assessments, and pedagogical experience in cross-disciplinary faculty teamwork.

    The School for Graduate Studies serves over 1,000 students per year in several degree and certificate programs offered in online and blended formats. The MBA in Management program serves a diverse group of approximately 400 students.  The college has two additional MBA programs under development:   One focused on health care leadership and another on global leadership and international business.  This position will be involved with the development and delivery of the program in healthcare leadership.   Involvement in college governance is also expected.

    Empire State College was founded in 1971 as a public college within the State University of New York. A recognized leader in offering innovative degree programs for motivated adults, the college enrolls 20,000 students annually in associate, bachelor's and master's programs at 35 locations across New York State and online. Faculty members work with students in one-on-one, seminar, residency-based, blended and online learning modes at the graduate and undergraduate levels; the mix varies by setting.
