| Healthcare Operational and Performance Excellence (HOPE) has openings for several consultants (project based, part time and full time). No relocation necessary, candidates must be able to travel frequently. Travel expenses will be covered. Consultants will be responsible for leading transformational Performance Improvement initiatives and projects that accelerate the achievement of results in priority areas for clients. Selected candidates provide analysis, consultation, gap assessment, team facilitation and solutions. Deliverables result in practical, significant, and measurable improvements in quality, service, and efficiency across the client's organization.
Education / Experience: · Bachelor's degree is required; · Master's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field of study is strongly preferred; · Lean Six Sigma training / certification preferred; · Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare performance improvement including utilizing DMAIC and value stream mapping. Skills and Qualifications: Verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills to effectively persuade and influence in order to achieve desired outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with business partners across departments and facilitate work among teams
Skills in facilitating meetings and change management.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams
Ability to manage projects to deliver results within timeframes
Ability in applying leading edge tools and methodologies to solve complex problems that have broad impact on multiple functions
Ability to train team members and staff on DMAIC method and performance improvement tools. |
