Position Announcement in Health Policy
The Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking a tenure track faculty member in health policy. The position is open rank (assistant, associate, or full professor level, depending on qualifications of the candidate).
Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in public policy, health policy, health services research, political science, sociology, or other relevant social science discipline. A track record of research and teaching in health policy is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate has strong research skills and an agenda that focuses on the policy aspects of important health care and public health issues. An area of emphasis for this search is the politics of health care and public health in the United States, but any strong applicant in the broader realm of health policy will be considered.
