Subject: Call for Abstracts: 2013 Annual Research Meeting (Academy Health)
Dear Colleagues,
The premier forum for health services research â AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting (ARM) goes to Baltimore, MD [June 23-25, 2013]. This 30th edition of ARM seeks papers, panels, and posters on 18 health care themes in health services research and policy, with an added focus on improving quality and value through payment and delivery innovations. The conference themes include:

- Payment Delivery System Innovations
- Public and Population Health
- Health Care Workforce
- Health Information Technology
- Improving Quality and Value
- Consumer Choice and Behavior
- Coverage Dynamics and Access
- Disparities and Health Equity
- Behavioral Health
- Child Health
- Complex Chronic Conditions
- Long-term Care
- Measuring Quality and Value
- Medicaid’s Expansion
- Medicare
- Methods Research
Abstracts are invited for four categories: 1) Call for Papers; 2) Call for Research Panels, 3) Call for Policy Roundtables and 4) Call for Posters. All theme-related abstracts chosen under “Call for Papers” category for podium presentations will  considered by the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) and Health Services Research (HSR) will be considered for fast track review process for publication during or shortly following the ARM.
Speakers selected for podium presentation are eligible for a discounted registration rate. Poster presenters are not eligible for the speaker discount.
Submission Deadline for ARM Abstracts: January 17, 2013.
Interest Group Meetings: In addition there are opportunities to share your research at one of several Interest Group Meetings to be held on June 22 and June 25. The common deadline to submit abstracts for Interest Group Meetings is February 13, 2013.
