Hi Everyone,
Our popular PDW session is back this year and we are all excited about the opportunity to chat with up and coming doctoral students and junior faculty about your work. This year we are trying a new format - the session will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 9th at a bar! This will be my fourth time running this PDW and it is always fun to run into past participants at different conferences and around the academic world. Many of those who submitted work have gone on to fabulous careers in academia, so I encourage you to send us your papers and research ideas for comment. This is a very collaborative experience and the faculty participants are really invested in helping you be successful with whatever it is you want us to review.
Please let me know that you are interested in participating and send your paper/manuscript/research draft by July 25th. We need to provide time for the faculty participants to review your work so that you get meaningful feedback. If you have any questions, please send them my way.
