Dear AOM Members interested in HealthCare Management, I am a new member of AOM and, following the suggestion of Stephanie Henagan, I want to send a Hello! to all and to present myself: I am the President of the Saint Luke Romanian Medical Foundation, whose goal is the promotion of the best medical practices. For 2011, our main objective is the Patient safety, including proper use of antibiotics, promoting the vaginal birth, personal data protection and immunizations. In order to achieve this goal, we are looking for partners with key experience in this field so that we could perform projects together. We consider that adequate communication between patients and physicians could emphasis the right attitude towards all the aspects mentioned above. Consequently, we planned for a 2011 Congress on Patient Safety and a dedicated site. Do you think there could be opportunities of cooperation between our Foundation and you?
