Calling all emerging scholars in HCM:
Are you a junior faculty member or doctoral student with research and/or teaching interests in health care management? (If you are a more senior faculty member, please share with your doctoral students.) Join us for the HCM division emerging scholars consortium on Friday, August 7 in Vancouver! We will gather at 8:00 a.m.in the Seymour room at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, for a day of conversation, professional development, and networking. The Consortium is geared towards doctoral students, recent graduates, and junior faculty. A diverse group of faculty will facilitate a highly interactive series of sessions, which will include roundtable discussions about navigating the job search, the academic workplace, and teaching; as well as sessions on data driven research, research pathways, and research development. The day will include lunch and an off-site social.
Come prepared to briefly share a current research project or idea, to meet new people, and to energize your career.
